Metropolitan New York Synod
The Metropolitan New York Synod is the local expression of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. There are more than 200 churches in New York City, Long Island, Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange, Sullivan and Ulster counties. The Interim Bishop of the Metro New York Synod is Rev.
